Please join me to learn more about Humane Society of Rome and the ways in which you can help in 2014.If you are able to join me, please email back at [email protected] and let me know you are coming, so I can prepare for the meeting. We need to get committees together, Lead volunteers in place, shelter help, events booked, dogs walked, and so much more! If you are not able to be there, and are still interested in volunteering, email me and let me know what you would be interested in doing and I will try to make other arrangements to get you started. We are having a Hockey Fundraiser for all of you Hockey Lovers! We will host a table at The Utica Auditorium on Friday February 28, at 7 pm, for a Utica Comets game. There are tickets available at the front desk of the shelter. The tickets are $15 each. If you know someone who would like to go to the game and purchase from us instead of the Box office, it would be a GREAT. We will receive a portion of the proceeds of the tickets we sell. Game night we will have a table with information about The Humane Society of Rome, and we will be selling tickets for a basket raffle.
