The Humane Society of Rome provides shelter, food and loving care to animals in need. Established in 1956, the Humane Society of Rome works to promote the adoption of rescued, abandoned, abused or neglected animals into lifelong homes. The Humane Society of Rome is a not-for-profit organization that has serves the Mohawk Valley and surrounding areas for more than 68 years.
Our team of staff and volunteers are dedicated to our mission to provide shelter, food and loving care to unwanted cats and dogs and promote the adoption of rescued, abandoned, abused or neglected animals into safe lifelong homes.
